This is a book that is just over 20 pages, at least 12 point type and widely spaced lines. There is nothing related to system design in the book. It's a very general overview of aquaponics. The table of contents is extensive, but the 'chapters' in some cases are literally just a few lines. Waste of money.
This is a great beginner book to find out the basic needs of aquaponics. I'm glad I got it.
This review is for the Paper Back Book. I cannot speak to the kindle book as I have not listened to it. The paperback is just a 26 page "book" that talks about history and mile high level overview of general aquaponics concepts. It has no value, you could read wikipedia and get better information. I am partly to blame for not paying attention to the number of pages of this book, however if you are looking for printed material around aquaponics find another book, this one is useless.
From the title, I expected more. However, having researched numerous systems in the past, I was disappointed to find this was a very brief overview of aquaponic systems.For a beginner who has no idea what aquaponic systems are, this is a good book to start with. It identifies many of the components that make up a hydroponic system, describes what they do, and in some cases presents options to considerIf you're someone who knows the subject and want some ideas on how to actually build your own system, this book is not for you. It is too brief to contain the information you are looking for
