Lever's is one of the standard textbooks in the field. It is an excellent reference, and I reach for it as often as I reach for my copies of Weedon or McKee. Unfortunately, the quality and resolution of the figures in this electronic edition is truly sub-par. Many of them are of such low resolution that one is unable to make out, for example, the cell types in an inflammatory infiltrate. This is true whether reading on an iPad Air or the Kindle app for PC or Mac. While I appreciate the convenience of an electronic edition of the text for ease of searching, I am overall disappointed in my purchase.
My edition was 40 plus years old but still very useful...Thought it was about time to replace it on my shelf. This edition has new useful terms and IHC info that is very helpful in a general pathology practice.
